Josh Groban - 2011 “Straight To You” World Tour Announcement

Tickets Go On Sale 10:00 a.m. March 5, 2011
For Toronto Show July 18, 2011

The "Straight To You" Tour will bring the feel of a theater experience to an arena setting though stage design, lighting, and projection, as well as through the spontaneity and interactivity Josh delighted his fans with during last year's "Before We Begin" shows, in which he solicited feedback from the audience on which songs should be included in the set-list. As a result, for the "Straight To You" shows, Groban will continue to interact with audiences and perform favorites from his best-selling albums, including his self-titled debut, Closer and Awake as well as songs from Illuminations.

So You Think Classical Music Can't Be Fun ~ Think Again

Igudesman & Joo

Igudesman & Joo is a duo comprising classical musicians, Aleksey Igudesman and Richard Hyung-ki Joo, whose shows combine comedy with classical music and popular culture. They aim to make classical music accessible to a wider and younger audience.

Aleksey and Hyung-ki met at the age of twelve, at the Yehudi Menuhin School, in England, and since then, have remained strong friends and writing partners. In 2004, following in the footsteps of luminaries such as Victor Borge and Dudley Moore, they created their show, "A Little Nightmare Music". Since then, they have performed with major symphony orchestras around the world and have played at some of the world's biggest stages and festivals.

The Real Star Of "Born To Be Somebody" Sung By Justin Bieber

Honours And Accolades To The Real Star Of
"Born To Be Somebody"

~ Meet The Songwriter ~ Diane Warren ~
~ From The Songwriters Hall Of Fame ~

Diane Warren is considered to be the most prolific and successful contemporary songwriter of our time. A quick glance at her list of Top Ten hits reveals a range of musical genres and styles so diverse it’s difficult to believe the songs could have come from the same person.

Diane Warren has written for such legends of song as Elton John, Tina Turner, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack and Roy Orbison. Recently, artists such as Patti LaBelle, 'N Sync, Gloria Estefan, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Reba McEntire, Whitney Houston, Enrique Iglesias, Aerosmith, Ricky Martin, Faith Hill, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige and LeAnn Rimes have graced the charts with her songs. Warren herself agrees that she has tapped this universality of message in her songwriting.

Diane’s songs are featured in more than 60 films. She had a number one hit with “Can’t Fight the Moonlight”, performed by Le Ann Rimes and featured in the film Coyote Ugly. Diane continues to diversify. She recently joined forces with rock band The Cult, who recorded “Painted On My Heart” for the film Gone In Sixty Seconds. Bounce, starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck, featured “Need To Be Next To You” performed by Leigh Nash of Sixpence None the Richer. The Family Man, showcased “I Don’t Know How I Got By”, performed by Edwin McCain. With an uncanny ability to create the perfect songs for any scene, it’s no wonder that Warren continues to receive accolades. As of 2002, Her songs have been nominated for 3 Golden Globes, 5 Academy Awards and 8 Grammys.
