South Simcoe Theatre Presents The Drowsy Chaperone

The South Simcoe Theatre's production of The Drowsy Chaperone  opens on Thursday, April 7.  It will run until Saturday, April 23, 2011.  This musical speaks directly to the great unspoken desire in all of our hearts: to be entertained.  It all begins when a die-hard Musical Theatre fan plays his favourite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally bursts to life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love.

Performances are at 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with performances at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.  Note that the performance originally scheduled for Sunday, April 24, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. has been re-scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.  For tickets, phone the Box Office at 705-458-4432.

As this production runs without an intermission, refreshments will be available both before and after the performance.  So come early or stay late and enjoy the companionship of your friends and other theatre-goers.
